    The vital statistics: one 1887 Great Britian florin, KM# 801, silver (0.9250), 11.3104 g (0.39 oz.) weight, actual silver weight 0.3364 troy oz., 28 mm (1.1 in.) diameter.
    This a brilliant coin, almost in uncirculated condition.  Fine details of the coin's designs are clear and sharp.  All letters and numerals are crisply legible.  Light scratching on the obverse bust and gentle wear on the highest surfaces of the reverse image of Britannia are the only indications of wear.  The three pairs of images were taken in nearly the same location and under nearly identical lighting.  The differences in the images are largely due to the changes in background.
