    Description

    ANTIQUE CHINESE CARVED WOODEN DISPLAY CABINET /BOOKCASE
    Antique Chinese hard wood carved open display stand or book case with individually framed cutouts or windows.
    This is an unusual, ornately carved display stand measuring 39 inches wide by 62 inches high by 8-1/4 inch deep.
    This piece would be best utilized against a wall. There are dragon designs in the carved woodwork. Cutouts are circular, rectangular and picture framed shapes.
    The display stand appears to be hand carved. It was originally purchased at Evelyn’s Antiques in San Francisco. There are four shelves with eight distinct shaped openings that would attractively highlight a collection. See photo examples of how it would set off a collector’s pieces.  No art pieces displayed are included in this auction.
    There are three drawers at the bottom. The display stand is open from the front and the back. If you prefer, you can add a backing, but it is offered without one.
