    Original Fetaque Sanders Shrinking Head Flyer
    Fetaque (Fe-Take) Sanders (1915-1992) was a prominent and successful magician who was featured in magazines, nightclubs, USO tours, the Chicago World’s Fair, the circus and even on Broadway. But his passion seemed to be performing at schools where he would bring entertainment and joy to children in impoverished areas while simultaneously raising money for the schools.
    He was also very good at promotion with many different flyers, brochures, and posters… most of which were printed on newsprint and had a limited life as they were made for specific shows or seasons.
    This auction is for an original and hard to find flyer with a very funny image that promotes, “Shrinking The Head Of A Living Boy!” There is also room at the bottom for the venue he was performing at to add their information.
    The 12”x8.25” inch flyer is not dated but is most likely from 1931-1958 when Sanders was at his peak.. This is an original flyer and was acquired from the sale of the David Price Egyptian Hall Museum collection. The flyer is in good condition for its age but the paper has some yellowing.
