    Original Zarlington/Misto Window Card
    This is an original window card used to promote the Zarlington Players show. The magician on the show was Zarlington who probably also performed as Misto.
    It states: Coming – In Person / Zarlington Players / Featuring Misto The Magician And His Calvade Of Magic / Laugh With Toby The Comedian / The Happy Zarlington’s Plus Emily And Pals – Willie & Lulu / Clean Family Fun – Don’t Miss It!
    A “window card” is a poster that is used to promote a show or an event. It is made of stiff cardboard and is often placed at retail store windows. It is also used at theaters and at events in glass cases outside of the venue.
    This original 14 x 22 inch, window card was purchased at auction from the David Price Egyptian Hall Museum (EHM 4109). It is not dated, although magic historians would be able to figure out rough dates, probably. Pre-owned but in good condition for its age.
